Clusterphuck

I can tell I won't have lots of time to post in the next 1 1/2 weeks. The Wifer and I are packing for Hayward, I am in the midst of working on my Cabrillo piece (tentatively titled 'Unfadeable'). タンク heard a little of the piece on Finale the other day and called it a "clusterphuck." I like that word but don't think it will make for a good title (something tells me the Cabrillo people might not like it). Anyhow, I am trying to take some risks with the piece, doing things I normally wouldn't do, subverting (as best I can) habits and safe routes of composition. We'll see if it pays off.

- Ulysses and the Wifer are sick. :( Unfortunately, I am not the right kind of doctor that can help them .
- Last night a thunderstorm zapped my router and my cable box/Tivo.
- タンク has a music blog. Check it. I will be posting my negative version of his top 10 CDs soon.
- I found my Benjamin Britten War Requiem book! No fines for me! Yippie!
