The longest unofficial TNS meeting ever

The Hernandez Clan left today. Quite the weekend - lots of drama, Upland, kids whining, hugs and embraces... I'll see them again in 3 1/2 weeks in Virginia.

タンク, 睦史 and I held the longest unofficial TNS meeting ever tonight. I got to Upland at 8:30 and we all left at 11:00. We weren't drinking the whole time! There were an unusual amount of strike-zone girls there (my strike-zone, at least) and I could hardly concentrate. Actually, more on my mind was the finality of what had just been carried out in the car on the way to Upland. Elimination has finally been carried out. I can't believe I did it. タンク and 睦史 couldn't believe it either. The looks other their faces was of pure disbelief. I have been thinking about this seriously for about 1 month looking for a way to handle it easily. But, I came to the conclusion that there was no easy way to do it and that it just need to be done. I resolved to do it for sure this week and figured today was as good a day as any to do it. Believe it or not, I am highly inspired by The Apprentice when making such decisions and (excuse the pun) executing them. After the first commercial break, Donald Trump always has some nugget of wisdom that is so incredibly simple and straightforward that I am floored by. This is simply because I overthink and over analyze everything. In following this Apprentice train of thought, I am completely "book" smarts and hardly any "street" smarts. Trump's advice is always street-smart centered and I easily relate it to my role as the leader of TNS. Basically, I have learned that you can't please everyone all the time and that good leaders make tough decisions that are often polarizing. This is what elimination was - a tough decision that had only left and right side, if you will. I decided that tonight I needed to step up and be a leader - to demonstrate to タンク, 睦史, and most importantly myself that I had what it took to take TNS to the next level and transform it into something REAL. The ramifications of elimination are unknown but right now they seem to be favorable. I can only say that I am still filled with adrenaline and probably won't be able to sleep until 1am tonight.

This post needs a picture. Here is one of the Hernandez Clan chowing down on KFC at Bryan Park.
