Gatlinburgh - Good'n'turrible

Ok - Right now, I am in Kearney, NE on the way to Hayward. I'll post about our trip so far in a min. First, here is a super short post about my time in Gatlinburgh (G'burgh):

I started a nice blog offline that was going to be this really detailed diary of my trip to G'burgh. Well...the trip pretty much sucked for me personally. I was in a foul mood because of my current housing situation and was snapping like a turtle at the wifer a lot. We had to take U to the emergency room one day because of a fever he was running. Our cabin was cool, but just a bit far from the attractions. This ended up being a blessing and a curse. I think any other summer I wouldn't have minded. This summer, I want to be out of houses that aren't mine. I tried the BBQ at a place called "Calhouns" at stoplight #3 in Pigeon Forge. Good'n'turrible. I played mini golf at Ripley's Old MacDonald gold course. Great! The highlight of the trip came on Thursday when the two bro-in-laws kidnapped me and took me whitewater rafting. Now, I am a big fraidy cat. But, I decided that I might as well go because I had nothing else better to do. Long-story-short: I loved it to death! We all had a super time and I would certainly do it again. I am sure CA has lots of opps for it.

Ok, time to compose the first entry in my cross-country move blog.
