Draggin' hard

Man oh man, I am seriously draggin' today. Yesterday, we had out a candidate for the Major 2nd's position. It took up pretty much my whole day - 7:45am to 8:00pm. Lately, I am having a real problem sleeping too. I get up about three to four times a night and then lay awake for 20-30 minutes. Of course, this happens mostly from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning which sucks because I teach from 9am to 10pm on Wednesdays. So yes, I am quite tired right now (I'll cut class a little early tonight so that I can get home).

My overall tiredness mixed with frustration in my Theory I...er I mean III class today when I absolutely throttled my students for not being tighter with their figured bass knowledge. I eventually calmed down about 5 or so minutes after my explosion (it was quite the blast - ask jv3k, she sits in on my course). As always, I am making a conscious effort to remedy deficits in my teaching technique but that is easier said than done.

Tomorrow, our 2nd candidate comes in to try on the Major 2nd's shoe. I can only hope my tiredness doesn't carry over.
