What does a person have to do to get a g*damn grant around here?!

The University denied me, for the second year in a row, a small research grant. I thought it was a pretty good idea (WAY better than last year). And since it was to support my trip to Salt Lake City in November.

I am filled with frustration at so many things right now.

On the positive side: today is the wifer's birthday. During the time between her birthday and mine (hint: it is on a day that America now "never forgets"), I tease her about being "much" older than me. Probably that isn't amusing to you. It is to me.

Soooooo looking forward to a break.
