Rafael Morales' probe into the human condition is quite profound and surreal. Los Olivdados is a brief reminder of forgotten people whose everyday acts of kindness and humanity remain unseen and forgotten in the hustle and bustle of existence. Los Traperos is a journey through the lives of scavengers, who travel down endless paths which yield all of life's misfortunes. Los Ciegos is a study in solitude and the absence of sensation. Los Abandonados is the realization of being loved and cared for, and it's vital importance in existence.
