Notes

Which came first? The chicken or the egg? This philosophical question is the basis for Sempiternalicious. The performance of this piece depends which answer you subscribe to. Two distinct pieces make up Sempiternalicious. The first GALLUS GALLUS (genus and species of chicken), is quick and furious. The second, OVUM, is slow and lyrical. Of course, the order of the pieces could be switched depending on if you believe the egg should come first. Since the piece has the possibility of going on infinitely, I chose the title Sempiternalicious. A fabricated word, Sempiternalicious comes from two words: sempiternal (never-ending) and delicious.
